Welcome to Running For Bo

Bo Alvarez was two years old when he nearly drowned in an unprotected swimming pool. Bo made it, but suffered severe brain damage. His mom, Michelle Rice Alvarez, and other concerned parents formed the Bo Alvarez Children's Foundation to help prevent similar tragedies. The Foundation has reached out to thousands of pre-schoolers with a life-saving message.

Every Running For Bo volunteer has committed to running a half-marathon or marathon, and to raise funds for the Foundation to support their mission.

Running For Bo volunteers have raised over $21,000 to help prevent childhood drownings – be a part of this growing movement!
